Summer in Glasgow is perfect for an outdoor ceremony… if the weather holds up. Luckily, Michelle and Michael got a proper “taps aff” day for their wedding at Greenbank Garden!

They exchanged their vows on the lawn, surrounded by family and friends, before a festival-style celebration with lawn games, drinks and a whole load of laughter. The gardens gave us a beautiful setting for natural photographs, with the tipi ready for the evening party.

The tipi, decked out in bohemian-inspired decor, transported guests to a world of rustic elegance. Draped in fairy lights, the tent glowed warmly as the sun began to set, casting a magical aura over the celebration.

The ceremony unfolded under the open sky, surrounded by blooming flowers and towering trees. The couple exchanged heartfelt vows, their love echoing through the garden. As a photographer, capturing these authentic moments amidst the beauty of nature was such a great experience.

The day was filled with lawn games, drinks, canapés and whole load of laughter.

As the evening progressed, the celebration moved to the dance floor in the tipi. Michelle and Michael shared their first dance surrounded by the soft glow of string lights, creating a romantic and intimate ambiance. Guests joined in, and brought their A-game to the floor.

As a photographer, Greenbank Garden provided a breathtaking backdrop for capturing candid moments and genuine emotions. From the joyous laughter during toasts to the stolen glances between the couple, every frame told a story of love and celebration.

The fusion of rustic charm and elegant details created a magical atmosphere that will forever be etched in the memories of all who attended. As a wedding photographer, it was an honour to capture the essence of this special day and witness the beginning of a beautiful journey for the newlyweds.
