Nestled in the serene woodlands of Dunkeld, Perthshire, lies The Hermitage, a location renowned for its natural beauty and tranquility. Recently, I had the privilege of capturing a beautiful intimate family wedding at this picturesque setting, specifically at Ossian's Hall, which overlooks the famous waterfalls.
As Emily & Gregor arrived, their closest family and friends accompanied them, creating an intimate gathering that was both warm and inviting. The lush greenery and the gentle sound of flowing water set the perfect backdrop for their celebration.
Ossian's Hall, with its charming architecture and stunning views of the falls, was a breathtaking choice for the ceremony. The interior has lovely touches of natural light, illuminating the couple as they exchanged vows surrounded by their loved ones.
After the ceremony, we moved outside to take advantage of the scenic spots offered by the Hermitage. The dense forest and cascading water provided an enchanting setting for some fun family portraits. The candid moments, whether a shared laugh or a tender glance, conveyed the authenticity of the celebration.
As we wandered further, Emily & Gregor shared a quiet moment by the waterfall, we walked through the woods and found some hidden spots for some pictures. For me, it’s all about capture the personalities and little moments rather than awkward posing and uncomfortable cheese.
Documenting this intimate family wedding at The Hermitage was a great experience. It beautifully encapsulated the essence of what a wedding should be: a celebration of love, surrounded by nature, filled with the warmth of family.
