You really are spoiled for choice here… every experience is tailor made. You can choose where within the estate that you’d like to stay, where you’d like your ceremony to take place and whether you’d like to go on a photography adventure to the hills.
Where To Stay?
Seal Cabin
An incredibly intimate and picturesque setting, looking over the peaceful loch. Sit with a glass of something nice and do a bit of seal spotting.
Red Squirrel Cottage
A larger cottage on the banks of the loch with exclusive use of the full property.

Ceremony location options
These are just a few options, but there are lots of beautiful locations throughout the estate. I’d suggest having a walk around upon arrival and deciding for yourself. It’s your day after all!
Lochside
Get married on the banks of Loch Goil. Very peaceful and relaxing.
Wedding Pavilion
Recite your vows on the purpose built pavilion with incredible views.
Victorian Greenhouse
Beautifully restored and a really good contingency if the weather isn’t playing ball.
Woodland
Why not say your ‘I dos’ whilst being surrounded by an enchanting woodland.

Woodside Lodge Portfolio
I’ve been fortunate enough to photograph many elopements at the lodge and the location really suits my style as a photographer. I love capturing nature and I love to naturally capture couples. I appreciate that a lot of couples that opt to elope are not comfortable being the centre of attention, so I see it as my job to quietly capture your personalities and provide you with images that you and your loved ones can enjoy for years to come.
I love to go on an adventure! The grounds of the lodge are so beautiful, but it is also surrounded by lochs, castles, mountains and everything else you need for a wild Scottish adventure. I therefore always offer to take you for a drive to some of my favourite local landscapes.
