Natalie and Scott’s elopement at The Torridon
Natalie and Scott’s elopement was something very special. It was my first time at The Torridon hotel, and what a place to start and finish their wedding day: a beautiful building surrounded by the scenery of the Scottish Highlands.
We had so much fun driving around in my car, listening to music and sharing gig stories. We quickly realised we had very similar tastes! Getting to know them as we explored was part of what made the photography feel natural and the day such a pleasure to be part of.
The mountains and lochs around Torridon gave us a beautiful setting, but the moments between these two were what made the pictures theirs. Natalie opening the champagne was one of the funniest things I’ve seen at a wedding—Scott got soaked! Ha!
They finished their day back at the hotel. I wasn’t around for their romantic meal, but witnessing their wedding and spending that time together was a real privilege.
