Roodlea Barn provided the perfect rustic backdrop for Sophie-Marie and David’s autumn wedding. I had the pleasure of photographing the amazing story of love between an Austrian bride and a Scottish groom, as they celebrated their union surrounded by such a great crew of family and friends.

When Alex and Michael asked me to come down to the south of England to photograph their wedding, I jumped at the chance.

As a Scottish wedding photographer, I've had the privilege of capturing countless beautiful ceremonies and receptions across Scotland. But there's something truly special about venturing south to document a wedding that blends Scottish and English traditions.

Recently, I had the opportunity to photograph Alex & Michael’s stunning rustic wedding at Upwaltham Barns in West Sussex. Alex is originally from the area, while Michael and his contingent are from Scotland, and their celebration was a delightful fusion of both cultures.
