No pressure, but there’s a bonus for you if you make it all the way to the end of this blog!

As 2025 draws to a close, I’ve found myself slowing down, looking back, and feeling an overwhelming sense of gratitude. This year has been nothing short of incredible. Being a wedding photographer in Glasgow — and travelling all over Scotland — has taken me on a journey filled with love, laughter, adventure, and genuine human connection.

From big, joy-filled celebrations in grand hotels to quiet, windswept elopements high up in the Scottish Highlands, every single wedding has been memorable in its own way. It’s honestly hard to put into words just how special this year has been.

Weddings & Elopements Across Scotland

One of the biggest highlights of 2025 has been the sheer variety of weddings and elopements I’ve been lucky enough to photograph. I’ve travelled the length and breadth of Scotland in search of connection, love, and adventure — from the heart of Glasgow to remote Highland locations that feel a world away.

I’ve documented:

  • Big Scottish weddings filled with energy, music, and packed dance floors

  • Intimate city ceremonies followed by relaxed celebrations with close friends

  • Wild elopements up mountains, beside lochs, and deep in the Highlands

  • Luxury hotel weddings and laid-back, outdoor gatherings

Whether it was a grand hotel celebration or a quiet moment shared halfway up a mountain, the heart of every day was always the same — two people choosing each other.

A Natural, Fun & Relaxed Approach to Wedding Photography

My approach to wedding and elopement photography has always been about keeping things natural, fun, and real. I want people to feel like themselves — not like they’re performing for the camera.

In 2025, I leaned even more into:

  • Candid, documentary-style wedding photography

  • Relaxed portraits without awkward posing

  • Letting moments unfold naturally

  • Capturing real emotion, laughter, and connection

I believe the best wedding photos come from trust, comfort, and genuine moments. It means the world to me that so many couples connected with this approach and invited me along to capture such an important day in their lives.

Trust, Connection & Incredible People

It’s never lost on me how special my job is. Being trusted to document one of the most meaningful days in someone’s life is something I’ll never take for granted.

This year, I’ve been fortunate enough to meet so many incredible people — people who started as clients and now feel like friends. Sharing full days together, travelling together, climbing hills, dodging Scottish weather, laughing, and creating memories has been an absolute privilege.

That trust and connection is everything to me, and it’s what allows me to create honest, emotive wedding photography that truly reflects each couple.

100+ Five-Star Reviews & A Fresh New Chapter

2025 also marked a huge milestone — going over 100 five-star Google reviews. Reading those words, knowing couples felt seen, supported, and genuinely happy with their experience, has been incredibly humbling.

Alongside that, I took a big leap this year with a full rebrand and the launch of a brand new website. It feels like the start of an exciting new chapter — one that better reflects who I am, how I work, and the kind of wedding photography experience I want to offer.
