A Brazilian bride and a Scottish groom had the most amazing day as they partied at one of Scotland's most iconic venues. Pictures at the Gallery of Modern Art and Royal Exchange Square. What an amazing day and an absolute pleasure to photograph.

Picture this: Ayrshire's rolling hills framed by a magical twilight, the iconic Lochside House Hotel and guests buzzing with anticipation. No, it's not a Hollywood movie premiere, but the wedding of dreams I recently had the privilege of capturing. This wasn't your average nuptials - it was a whirlwind of sophisticated glam, infectious energy, and a touch of playful surprise. Buckle up, photography lovers, as we dive into this unforgettable celebration!

A Casino Royale Fit for a Fairytale: Forget the stuffy reception hall; this couple brought the party with a chic, custom-built casino. Guests donned their finest attire (think tuxedoed groomsmen and bridesmaids in beautiful black gowns) and traded vows with the backdrop of the loch. But the real magic happened at the reception, transforming the casino into a vibrant hub of laughter and friendly competition.

Same sex wedding held at one of the Scottish Highland’s most beautiful wedding venues. This wedding was full of loads of laughs, energy and all things gay pride. It was such a privilege to be part of the day and blend in order to naturally capture everyone’s personalities and the authentic atmosphere of the day.

As a wedding photographer, there are the moments that make my job so amazing! Moments of pure joy, love, and beauty that encapsulate the very essence of a couple's special day. Such was the case with the incredible summer wedding I had the pleasure of photographing at Balbirnie House, where nature provided the perfect backdrop for an outdoor ceremony filled with love and laughter.

Nestled amidst the lush greenery of Fife, Scotland, Balbirnie House exudes an aura of elegance and charm, making it an idyllic setting for a romantic celebration. On this particular summer day, the sun was shining brightly, casting a warm glow over the sprawling gardens and manicured lawns, setting the stage for a truly magical affair.

Dovecot Studios is one of Edinburgh’s many hidden gems. What an incredible place to get married. The building was initially built to house The Infirmary Street Baths, which were the first public baths in Edinburgh, built in 1885 by Robert Morham.

Nestled in the heart of Edinburgh, Dovecot Studios provided an enchanting canvas for the couple's love story. The historic venue, with its exposed brick walls and high ceilings adorned with contemporary art, set the perfect stage for a wedding that seamlessly blended tradition with modernity.

What an amazing adventure! There’s something a little special about having to take a ferry to an island for a wedding. Granted, it’s a very short ferry crossing to Cumbrae, but still exciting none the less.

A beautiful wedding and the majestic Dundas Castle, Edinburgh. Who wouldn't want to get married at a 15th century Scottish Castle. It's like something out of a fairytale and I was fortunate enough to naturally and candidly photography such a special wedding. Beautiful portraits and documentary style photography was captured throughout this joyful occasion.

What an incredibly beautiful winter wedding at Inglewood House Hotel, Alloa, Scotland. I had the pleasure to be asked by this amazing couple to photograph such a special occasion. It was an evening wedding, so the challenge was to capture the night atmosphere using light to best of my ability. These kinds of weddings certainly put you through your paces creatively and it’s a challenge that I will always embrace. The time of day doesn’t change the way that I approach wedding photography as it’s all about the natural moments, the candid laughter and the love.

Amanda & Ankur had the most amazing winter wedding at Cameron House, Loch Lomond. It was an absolute privilege and a pleasure to be part of their beautiful wedding day… and what a day it was! So much fun, a load of laughter and a hell of a lot of dancing!

Loch Lomond looked unbelievable. The winter light was perfect and the snowy top of Ben Lomond dominated the skyline. As awesome as the location was, none of it compared to Amanda in her dress, elegantly floating down the aisle to see Ankur for the first time. They were also brave and willing enough to negotiate the muddy beach pictures down by the loch… maybe that part wasn’t quite as elegant. It was worth it though. Ha!

It was so great to be in the company of so many great guests and capture them all party throughout the day.
